Philip started working at Stonegate Mortgage in August 2019 after a career spanning commercial real estate lending, investment management and macroeconomic research with companies located in Boston and Hanover, NH. Philip comes to the mortgage finance industry with a breadth of financial markets experience that he is able to offer his clients in assessing their mortgage financing needs. His prior work in analyzing economic risk and trends provides additional depth to the Stonegate Mortgage team.
Born and raised in New York, Philip graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Political Science and worked in investment banking for several years in Manhattan before relocating to Boston. As a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder since 1997, and member of the CFA Society Boston, Philip brings a strong fiduciary orientation to his work.
Philip is excited to relocate to the South Coast, having lived in Vermont for the past 12 years. An avid hiker and cyclist, he looks forward to sharing all that coastal New England has to offer with his wife Laura and their four grown kids.
